Coupled with a series of smoke tests, blower door tests, and a thermal inspection these features earned the project a HERS rating of 51 and FGBC Silver Certification in May 2016. Landstar Park features 10 buildings and 156 units, all of which are built to Florida Green Building Coalition standards. Each space includes a number of green features including low flow faucets and shower heads, high efficacy toilets, energy efficient appliances, low VOC paints, and energy efficient lighting. The grounds of the property also include drought tolerant vegetation that excludes exotic and invasive species, as well as low flow irrigation.
